The classrooms at Encore are truly places to learn. We make sure that our students always follow proper classroom etiquette and are respectful to their teachers and fellow students. Class Size

We like to keep class sizes small in relation to age. Our combo class programs are usually kept to 10 and under in order to ensure that each child gets the proper attention that they deserve. In our older class levels class size usually will not exceed 17. If this is the case the qualified assistants are used so that each student can receive proper training.

Our prices are designed to be this way so that you can receive the best in dance education at a superior rate! At Encore Dance Academy our goal is to educate and produce dancers, therefore we discount each student based on how many hours per week they dance. It is our belief that one class per week is more for recreation than for true technical training. Students expecting to become proficient should be dancing for a minimum of three hours per week from age 7 and more beginning at age 10.

How we place children

All of our students, including new students, are placed into appropriate classes based upon their technical ability. We feel that it is important to place children into classes so that they will not fall behind on what they are learning each year. We want to create strong self-esteem, and by making sure they are placed in the appropriate level they will never fall behind on technique. We will not place a student in a classroom if we do not feel that they are ready for it.
